Create a New API Key: On the "API keys & tokens" page, you'll see a button labeled "Create API Key" or something similar. Click this button to initiate the API key creation process.
Provide Details for the API Key:
Friendly Name: Enter a descriptive name for your API key. This will help you identify its purpose later.
Copy the Secret Key: Once you confirm the details, Twilio will generate a secret key for your API key. This secret key is crucial for authentication and should be treated with the same importance as your password. Make sure to copy the secret key immediately as it won't be displayed again.
Secure Storage: Paste the copied secret key into a secure password manager or another encrypted storage solution. Do not share this key with anyone!
Confirmation: After copying the key, there might be a checkbox confirming you understand the importance of keeping the key secret. Check the box and click "Done" to finalize the API key creation.
Now you have a Twilio API key with its corresponding secret key. You can use these credentials to authenticate your requests to Twilio's APIs.
